Daylight savings time Sunday

Just a reminder to all of you that live in states that recognizes daylight savings time, everyone is to simultaneously wake up at 2:00 am, wander around the house in a daze and blurry-eyed and try to set your clocks ahead an hour.

The rest of you folks, just stay in bed.....

I like fall better. I'll need a week or two to get use to getting up earlier

2023 and we're still changing clocks. This is silly.

I went to bed an hour earlier last night to make up for the lost hour. Good in theory but not in application. Made my coffee extra strong this morning.

X2. I just don't see a need for daylight savings time anymore. We're not saving any daylight, just changing the part of the day we have it.

That's the problem with the Senate Bill that is pending again. If it passes the Northern states will have more dark mornings when the kids are going to school. Stupid! We need standard time all year not DST.

We need a continuous adjustment so the sun sets at 9:00 pm every day.

I couldn't agree more. Rolling back the clock in the fall and having it get dark at 5 p.m. is ridiculous.

Haven't changed our clocks in 20 years. As a wise Indian once said:

"Only a paleface would think that cutting off 2 inches on one end of a blanket and sewing it on to the other end would make it longer”

"Paleface"? I'm offended!

I forgot to mention, don't forget to change the batteries in your smoke detectors too, if they have them. Just sayin'...

For some it is a pain but for those of us who really do not need another hour of blistering heat in the summer, we don't do it and don't need it.
