I just made a post on the forum and when I submitted it it said I needed to login. I was logged in so not sure if the post made it. Is there a way to find out if it did?

Then it didn't make it. Under your username on the left side of your post it shows you've made 3 posts. And all of those are in this thread.

This question comes up from time to time. When you log in, please make sure to select the "remember me" box to keep yourself logged in on the forum. It seems to keep content from being lost while you are in the process of posting.

This has happened to me several times! It's especially frustrating when I've written a long post (probably too long

) then submitted it just to find it has disappeared.

So now I've gotten in the habit of copying my post before I submit it. Once I send it and if I find it didn't post, I simply paste it back in the quick reply box and resend. This usually works

Welcome to JOF! I need to remember to do that also.

Our software does not save typing as some versions of Vbulletin.

I see the new post. Moved it over to the Super C forum.

Pick the proper subject line (TT, FW, MH, TECH or whatever) and ask the question.

Click on the category you're interested in getting an answer from. Click on the "New Thread" tab at the top of that category. Title it then ask away!

In any sub forum, there will be a "New Thread" box at the upper left above the forum directory that you may click to create a new thread. Please see attached screenshot.

Go to the main screen. Hover over the topic you want to ask a question in. Click on the title of the topic. For example: "Jayco Travel Trailers" , "Welcome Mat" ,"Tech Talk etc. After you click on the title, you'll see all the threads in that particular topic. At the top left corner, you'll see "New Thread".

To add to the above correct info: for wchacket :This is the Forum Admin and Announcements thread. It is the only one you will NOT see an option to post a new thread.
