Short answer: You have to hold your device the other way.

Apple is particularly offensive about it. The image is stored exactly as the photosensitive element saw it. The orientation of the device at the time is also stored. Apple software reads the orientation data every time the image is displayed and 'corrects' the image at that time, every time.

Microsoft and Android (Linux) store the image right side up, so there is no correction during the display process.

Different engineering choices creating incompatible systems.

Welcome to the 21st Century.

Thanks for the info! Have never heard that before but makes total sense... Apple is definitely the communists of the tech world!

I can't seem to upload more than one image at a time. When I upload three only the first one appears in the post preview.

How to add photos to a post
Click reply and scroll down to bottom of text box.
Click "go advanced" add text to message window and then scroll down.
Click "Manage attachments" A separate window will pop up.
Click "browse" Then select the file to be uploaded. Be sure that the photo is appropriately sized. No more than 400K is recommended. Forums software will automatically reduce the size, but smaller size photos will upload much faster. Images larger that 2 MB will not upload. You may select several photos to upload at the same time by repeating the last step.
Click "Upload" After pics have loaded close the pop-up window
Click "submit reply" to mount the text of your message - photos will automatically appear at the bottom of your post.

Thanks Norty. I'm doing just as you say. It's probably the the images are too big. I'm only using the phone or tablet to take them. So I guess I have to figure out how to reduce images. Ugg
