Featured Campgrounds

Is there a way to access a longer list of "Featured Campgrounds"? I saw an interesting campground but had to leave the forum before I could read about it. When I came back it was off the list. I tried the scroll but that didn't work. Also when I touched the "Featured campground it brought me to Campground Reviews.

I never used the Featured Campgrounds, so I had to try it for myself to see what happens. I opened 3 JOF sessions and the list of Featured Campgrounds were different in every session. Therefore, I have to assume the list is either produced randomly or based on some other selection criteria.

When I clicked on one of the featured campgrounds in the list, I was taken to Campground Reviews' review for that campground. I noticed that if I clicked "back" to return to JOF, I received a new list of campgrounds in the Featured Campgrounds window.

I gathered from my experience that once you leave the webpage with the with the list of campgrounds... they're gone. You could try clicking on the Reload (Refresh) which will being up a new list that, hopefully, contains the campground you were interested in, but how long it would take until it appears again is anybody's guess.

I didn't try this, but I would think you could search on Campground Reviews website by name/location/etc. and maybe find the campground that way.

Good luck if your search.

Thanks for the reply. I think I'll just write down the campgrounds that seem interesting and check them out, if they are gone when I go back, no problem I'll have more to choose from!!!
