Highlight the text first and then choose your changes. We do prefer you keep it to a minimum.

The color of "Any ideas?" in the body of your post (above) displayed in red on my computer which, to me, clearly indicates at least the color is working. As long as you're using the tools provided in the Message box of the "Reply to Thread", color and size should work and in the Message box (where you enter your post), it should appear as [COLOR="Red"]Any ideas?[/COLOR].

I see your original post was edited by one of our moderators so I'm not sure what might have been changed, if anything, to cause the "Any ideas?" to be displayed in red.

That would be our doing.

What are you wanting to do?
Your questionis not very clear.

Is it the actual procedure you don't understand?

Tried to underline something Clicked on underline would not do it. When I clicked it I got [U/U] in message box

When you click underline, you type the words you want underlined in between the U's.

It's not like MS word.

Then click preview post and it should show what you wanted.

OK - I think this may be a procedural issue.

1. craft your message in the reply editor.
2. highlight (with your cursor) the text you want to change
3. click on the font or color option you want to apply to the highlighted text.

Like this

Name:	jayco_text.jpg
Views:	2
Size:	72.6 KB
ID:	45192

The bb code will be applied to the highlighted text and the applied code will display on either side of the text in your editor. Like this:

Name:	jayco_italics.jpg
Views:	2
Size:	49.1 KB
ID:	45193

Once the post is made, the code no longer displays but the end result should include the text formatting you applied.

Thanks for the info. I'm already using it to make my posts clearer.
