Marking Forum as Read

Trying to find the link in Forums where I can click "Mark Forum as read". This option is a usually available on other Forums I've used in past. Am I just not seeing this option here?

On your screen, do you have a drop down menu on the right hand side of the gold bar that says "Quick Links"? If so, the "Mark Forums Read" option should be located there.

Click on "quick links" and a menu appears that includes "mark forums read".

Hey Guys! Thanks for your time and snapshot. I discovered that I've been using an abbreviated version. Further down my page was a link to "view whole site". BAM! There was "Quick Links" and SO much more! It was like getting glasses for the first time. I had no idea all the cool stuff I was missing!

Now my only problem is I'm getting TOO much information. It all doesn't fit on my cellphone screen. Is there any way to toggle back and forth between the "full site" and abridged versions? Sorry to be such a pain.

Not that I know of. It just takes some getting used to. Knowing where to look.

I found it! It's in the "Quick Links" menu. You can edit your personal options. One of the options is selecting a "mobile" view. Once clicked and saved I'm back to the abridged version again. So fun!

Scroll to the bottom of the webpage and look at the button on the left side. If it’s not labeled “— Jayco Owners”, you’re in Mobile view and you need to change it by clicking on the “— Jayco Owners” button as there is no “Quick Links” button on the webpage when you’re in Mobile view. This is because Mobile View is, what I consider, the “economy version” of the JOF website and it lacks a number of features and conveniences like “Quick Links”. It was designed in the “olden days” when an ISP’s Internet service were mainly DSL’s and dial-ups, and cellular data plans for mobile devices were expensive. The price for an unlimited data plan was cost prohibitive for most customers (assuming the cellular carrier even offered one). Mobile view benefited JOF users by speeding up the load time of webpages by reducing the amount of data sent over the Internet.

Today, unlimited data plans are available with nearly every cellular carrier and affordable. Plus, cellular network speeds have increased tremendously over the years. Like the steam locomotive, Mobile view is obsolete for most JOF users.

For the best experience on JOF, always use use Jayco Owners view unless there is some issue that either prohibits its use.

You can “bounce” back and forth between Mobile and Jayco Owners view to your heart’s content by scrolling to the bottom of the webpage and clicking on the view button in the left corner

Nice! That's even easier than my discovery (i.e. editing options in "Quick Links" pull down menu). Now I need to remember what in heck was I searching for before I went down this rabbit hole. Thanks again for all your help.
