The flakes are probably only a one or two day thing. Does not seem to be affecting my old desktop.....

You can barely read the forum with the flakes going by. Wish you'd offer a button/option to turn the "cool" holiday effects off.

Hit settings on the top of the page, then on the left menu go to "Edit Profile". At the very bottom there is an option to disable the fun.

It does it on Outlook, Chrome, but it is OK on Firefox.

It is just fine on my IE. Kid loves it! After a few minutes I don't even notice them.

Only issue I just had was with the snow plow in they way when I went to enter this post

Love the holiday animation. They are lots of fun (and I can annoy my DW breaking bulbs). Thanks to the admins.

A little snow in the laptop isn't going to hurt mine. I dropped a cinnamon roll, icing down, on the keyboard not long ago and I'm still functional.

I enjoy the holiday animations as well.

And then there are the folks like me who have the holiday animation option selected as "on" but I still don't see them this year *pout*. I did see the Christmas lights last year, made no changes to my laptop since... so not sure why I can't see any of the animations. Oh well
