Rough bumpy ride! Help!

We have a 2016 Jayco Jayflight 28 BHBE and we are pulling at with a 2009 Ford F150. We just had put on new heavy duty Goodyear Wranglers with Kevlar. Now when pulling our camper we are nearly bounced out of our seat! Before we had passenger tires and it wasn't nearly as bad. Would air bags help?
Please help!

Nope, you may have too much air in the tires. Get the truck weighed with the trailer then adjust the pressure according to Goodyears load chart.

But that is why they put passenger tires on 1/2tons, soft ride.

What air pressure are you running at ? We are running Michelin Defender LT's on a 2010 F150 and 2015 29BHBE, a very similar setup, and have not experienced anything similar. When the Ford garage installed my LT tires, they utilized the P-rated inflation of 35psi and insisted over and over again that it was correct. I never towed with my LT tires at 35 PSI, but that could cause some bounce.

Check you tongue weight and WD hitch setup. Too much tongue weight could cause some extra bounce if WD is not adjusted properly. LT tires might cause a slightly harsher ride unloaded but should not cause extra bounce while towing the trailer.

They set the tire pressure at 81lbs they said per Goodyear. The truck rides rough even if we aren't towing! What are yours set at on your truck and camper?

They may have set the tires to the max psi which is a theory subscribed to by some internet "experts".

My buddy has a 2014 HDPP which came stock with LT tires and Ford recommends 55 on front and 60 on rear, as per his door sticker, so that is what I run as our trucks are about the same weight with similar options. You could probably run 55 rear when not towing, but I leave mine at 55/60 as truck is towing 99% of time during the spring/summer/fall.

Bought new F-150 SCrew and at 16k miles it was 'porpoising' with VERY WEAK factory shocks. Took one off the TV and showed it to the dealer. "It's not leaking, we will not replace it." One could fully extend and compress the shock with no effort. Bought KYB gas shocks for 2008-2014 F-150 (they fit later models) and immediate improvement in ride and tire wear. Replaced the Hangooks at 20k (3/32nds) with Yokohama AT-S 275-55-18s. The sidewall calls for 51lbs or less, the door sticker calls for 44. I run 48, and have over18k miles and 80% of tread. Ride VASTLY improved with shocks, but in your case you might consider something a little more compliant. https://www.kyb.com/catalog/

Are your tires LT225-75-16e Fortitudes? Or are they the All-Terrain Adventure? If they are the All-Terrain Adventure blown up to 81lbs, no wonder your teeth are rattling. Goodyear even advertises these tires as having 'Durawall Technology' whatever that means, 'for better off road performance and sidewall puncture resistance'. Air bags will not help, only amplify the problem.
You will find a door sticker with tire information that should say 38psi is your 'recommended' pressure. TPMS sensors will 'detonate' at 32psi, it the correct ones are installed. I run 46-48 in mine, with 51 max per the tire. You might try that.

I don't have your tires or setup. But when I replaced my tires, I tried a number of air pressure setting, until I decided 40 psi in front and 45 psi in back. For about 6 trips I adjust and noted the ride condition. In the winter, I switch back to 35 psi.
