Got a PM from a company that makes lockable boxes that they supposedly want me to evaluate and rate. Says it is free.

Is this valid? does it meet your standards or just another add, scam or junk and or phishing??

I had the same on their suspension components a while back. References my suspension comments on a couple forums. Seemed legit, but you never know with all the fishing scams these days.

I had one from an RV step manufacturer when I was posting about it last year offering one for my evaluation.
I declined.

I got a PM from Torklift some months back thanking me for a post about their Revolution Stair product and offering me a free hat. The username was “Torklift” and the message was signed by “Jasmine”. I replied with an address and received a hat a few days later.

Torklift seems to have registered and solicited Jayco forum members via PM which is pretty smarmy business practice. Thanks for the reports; we've taken appropriate measures.
