View full site

How do you change from the mobile view I am experiencing with my new phone and revert to the former view which I imagine is the full site view? The bottom link called view full site is inoperative.
Can a site admin lend a hand?
Thank you.

I have referred your dilemma to admin.

It is not doing what you are experiencing on other members phones and since yours is new, I suspect that there lies the problem.

If you are using the full site version, at the very bottom of most pages, left hand corner, is a choice to the Mobile version. If you are using the mobile version, the choice will be View Full Site. After choosing View Full Site, it did not change back to the full site until I cleared all of my Jayco cookies.

That may be the answer but he can't even see the option at the bottom of the page to select it. New cell phone.

Correct. It seems like the view full site link is responding, the screen returns to the top of the page, but then the routine senses the mobile phone and returns it to the mobile view all over again. My hunch is that the link should ignore checking for a mobile device when it returns to the top of the page. Also, if I ever get back to the full view, I bet the bottom screen choice is present, just not there in a mobile view.

Some questions:

What operating system are you running on your phone?

Do you have the screen view zoomed up?

I did some texting in chrome (android) and the link seems to be working.

Are you allowing cookie exchange with the site?

Is you internet connection working? The page should refresh after you hit that link to view the full site and this take a minute...

Not sure what Samsung Note 8 uses. Android 7 something.

Not zooming in.

Page seems to refresh, it reloads to top of the page.

Never turned off cookies, think that is fine as when I return to this forum it knows who I am.

Thank you for your assistance.

I am using a Samsung 8 so I assume we're on the same platform. My browser was set to mobile and if I scrolled down I saw a full site option. Once I'm on full site there is a small drop down in the bottom left that says Jayco Owners. Click that and it will bring up the option for mobile.

I do see that drop down menu when I am on the full site view with my laptop.

Since I am stuck on the mobile view, that drop down does not display, just a View Full site link.

I have selected View Full site several times. When it refreshes to the top of the page, it reverts to a mobile view and ignores the script where it is trying to change to a View Full site mode

I wish it was easier to describe.

Thank you for the reply though, am guessing our Android software is close to the same.

Can you check your settings to make sure you are allowing cookie exchange with the site? Your browser maybe be auto filling the login info but it sounds as though the cookie that is set to retain a page view is being purged.

Hello
I changed no cookie exchange setting and just now the former view is present. Who knows why, don't wish to challenge the result but the former view returned. Thank you for whatever was done.
