I got a notice of a new message. When I tried to retrieve it, I was advised that I needed to download a separate program to read the new message. The new program did not look save; is it? Thanks.

There is a add on here that looks like a message. Do not download it or respond. Ignore it or download a ad blocker.

The only private message notification is in the top right hand part of the page where it says Private Messages.

Administrators are aware of it and there are several threads that answer your same question and confusion about it.
