And we will answer it that many times knowing it probably won't be read or acted upon by those that need it most.

I appreciate that after a gentle reminder to use "Search" someone still offers a solution or advice. I have been on a couple of forums that either ignored someone's plight or "fragged" them just because. On that same forum there were a few "charming" individuals who seemed to take delight in flaming others.

Everyone here has been supportive and friendly.

I hope those that read this realize I am just poking in fun here. As the Admin. of the Coleman Collectors Forum, the same thing happens there, too.

As Dwayne states, this Forum, and my CCF, are kept friendly, and supportive, by the Admins. and Moderators here.

If they don't, it just reinforces that they haven't looked at where you posted it.

A lot of times when I go to search I can't find what I am looking for even though I know I had read a thread on the subject previously.
Also answering a question previously answered will probably interest other people.

The forum software search function leaves much to be desired.

A better way is to use this: Can't find what you're looking on JOF? Try Jayco Owners Forum Custom Google Search

It is highlighted in BLUE on my signature. It is much better and searches Jayco Owners forum only.

This thread in Forum admin and announcements has other ideas: https://www.jaycoowners.com/forums/f...rum-37615.html

For fear of receiving a virtual dart here, I come in peace, but we are considering upgrading to a 32 foot TT but want to save gas on my tow vehicle. Can I use a RAV 4, which is a shorter wheel base though but gets close to 30 mpg to tow it with my WDH?

Agree the search engine option is hit or miss. Seems like this is standard among most of the forums I’m on.

Regarding the link in your signature, when I’m viewing the forum from a desktop (which isn’t that often) I can see signatures but I can’t see them from a mobile device.

Do you want to tow the trailer with it or triple tow the RAV-4? Very doubtful your RAV-4 will tow a 32' trailer.

This is the jokes section. Right? If the joke is not on us, it must be on the poster.

Well the salesman of the new TT told me that it would work and I could tow it and still get at least 20 mpg. So I was just asking the experts here what they thought before pulling the trigger on the purchase.

If your heart is set on towing it with a RAV4, I'd get a one ton truck, and put
"RAV4" emblems all over it. We'd all feel you were a tad safer that way.

Oh man, a one ton? gasp, a real fuel guzzler there, Do you think Prius decals would help with reducing the consumption?

If you are worried about gas mileage, just take out a mortgage on a new F150 Lightening. No gas mileage to worry about. Also, order a 400 mile extension cord to recharge it.

Oh I checked into buying one, for kicks even with the short distance when fully charged when towing. My idea was that I would use my very quiet Inverter Honda Generator to charge the truck and my 12 ga 25 foot extension cord and plugged in for towing. I use about a gallon for 8 hours of full run time. Whatchu think? Can I do a cross country trip with this set up?

Closure-the concept of half-reading something and answering a question based upon what you thought it said. It never occurred to me that someone would consider towing a 32 foot anything with a compact SUV. I'll bet that salesman will deny even insinuating that you could, now.
