Going slow need to play through

Two men were having an awfully slow round of golf because the two ladies in front of them managed to get into every sand trap, lake, and rough on the course.

They didn’t bother to wave the men on through, which is proper golf etiquette.

After two hours of waiting and waiting, one man said: “I think I’ll walk up there and ask those gals to let us play through.”

He walked out the fairway, got halfway to the ladies, stopped, turned around, and came back, explaining:

“I can’t do it. One of those women is my wife and the other is my mistress! Maybe you’d better go talk to them.”

The second man walked toward the ladies, got halfway there and, just as his partner had done, stopped, turned around and walked back and said:

“What a coincidence”

And, you’re assuming the women aren’t talking about both of you?

One day a group of golfers consisting of a Priest, an ophthalmologist and an engineer, were playing behind a foursome that was taking forever. Finally, with the group ahead now several holes behind the players in front of them, the Priest waves down a course marshal.

"Excuse me, do you have any idea why that 4-some in front of us is playing so slow? The marshal responded, "Oh yes. Do you remember last year when the city hall building was on fire and the mayor was trapped inside? These guys ran in and saved the mayor but their eyes were burned in the process and now they are blind. To show our appreciation to these brave men we let them play a round of golf for free once a month!"

The Priest, with a show of compassion, asked the course marshal if he knew their names so his church could offer up prayers at mass for them. The ophthalmologist handed the course marshal his business card and said, "There have been some tremendous advances in medicine lately, and I think I may be able to help them. Please have them give my office a call."

The engineer, shaking his head, looked at the course marshal and said, "Why don't they play at night."
