I found in my cabinet some Himalayan Sea Salt I had purchased earlier in the year (maybe longer). It says on the label that it is 250 million years old, and on the bottom it says it expires in March 2025. Who would have thought after millions of years I purchased this just in time to use it before it expires? ~CA
... interesting. I wonder if the processors included something in the salt that Mother Nature didn't. Or if the marketers want you to discard that package after a certain date and buy another.
Edit: Warning! Be careful not to eat meat or produce that is a 250 million years old that is being marketed as "fresh".
