Tow rating

With all the discussion on tow ratings and tow vehicles on this site when I saw this at the campground this weekend it made me laugh.

I used to park my little Nissan pickup under my 35 foot fifth wheel because of space problems on my driveway. You can't imagine how many people asked me if I really pulled that fifth wheel with that little Nissan!

People question my Avalanche's ability to tow my camper all the time. They don't know that they made a 2500 Avalanche for a few years

We spend a few weeks a year where my wife's mother and sister live. We also take the car. My wife follows me for the 270 mile trip. When we stop at a rest stop, my wife parks the car behind the trailer in the truck/RV section. With our previous 32' Eagle, I had her pull up to about 1 ft behind the trailer. I had someone ask how I could tow the car behind the trailer a couple of times.

I didn't know about the 3/4 T Avalanche until I joined this forum.
