10 days to respond

Called Jayco on the 19th to confirm the torque rating on my wheels and to ask about a defective rear curtain. The manual lists 13 inch wheels in steel and chrome only and alloys in 14 and up. Mine are 13inch alloys. Knowing that alloys should be torqued to 105-115lbs I did it anyway.
They finally called back today because the person I talked to on the 19th couldn't answer and had to refer.

It was more of a test since it was the first time I have called...unsure whether they passed

I have called and emailed Jayco many times since purchasing my Jayco 5er, and they have always replied very quickly and accurately. They have sent me schematics, diagrams, and numerous specific answers to questions. Sometimes they are busy, and it takes a few days to find the answer, but I have confidence that they will respond as quickly as possible. Sorry you didn't get your response sooner, but sometimes patience is necessary. JMHO

I am a true Rv'er, no one has more patience than me. I knew the info because I know what alloys need for torque I just wanted to call and see how they operate. 10 days isn't very good. I likely will never need to ever call them. I just figure things out on my own.

The local tire store should know the torque.
