Pretty much nailed it I'd say

They asked Chad Knauss if Kyle was the best driver of the time. He gave the best dang answer so far although politically correct answer. The jets of what he said was yes he is a good driver, a real good driver but you have to look at what Jimmie did and before him you have to look at Jeff Gordon when he was winning 7-10races every year. He kind if dropped the mic an left it at that. And the tone of his voice led me to believe that he's really over the Kyle talk

I believe that pretty much everyone in the garage is sick of the KB show by now. I sincerely hope that they let him get #201 this weekend so that we can be done with it.

I forgot how all this went down between NASCAR an the lawsuit with the guy in Texas over a second date. Rockingham paid the ultimate price just glad I was able to enjoy the track the last few years they raced there

My money says Stenhouse does not finish the race. At least not in a dent free car an or on the lead lap if he does

He's only down 1 lap so far. Early yet though.

I'm watching the race in the trailer in the driveway. Just spent the weekend in downtown Pittsburgh at a conference. I need a few minutes after that experience in a nice comfortable and quiet place.

Not a good day for Johnson when he gets the move over flag for his own teammate

Missed watching the race today. Drove down to Dauphin Island, walked on the beach had supper at one of the seafood restaurants on the gulf. Nice sunny day.

Looking at finish, shame they are what I call filler cars being used to help get close to a full field. I remember when tires where payed for by NASCAR for a late model, that had won the week before, so he could race the next race.

Realistically, how many drivers have a legitimate shot at winning every weekend? I would say 4 right now....... Kyle Busch, Harvick, Logano, and Keselowski. Second tier, with an outside shot and picking up a win here and there would be Hamlin, Truex, Almirola, Blaney, Elliott, Bowyer, Larson, and Kurt Busch. So, that's 12 teams that potentially could contend for a win on any given weekend.

At this point, the rest of the field may as well be considered field fillers. I doubt that you will see any of them in victory lane with the possible exception of some rare instance (fuel mileage race, etc.)

I agree whole heatedly. To hear it be told there's 25 teams every weekend that could win. They must be watching something different than I am cause I never see it. It's been about 10 cars an will always be about 10, exception the one off win at Dega or maybe Daytona.
But with that said. Hendrick and Childress to name a couple started out the same way. Almost totally broke an out of the sport an look at em now. Everybody has to start somewhere unfortunately some get the break they need to continue and build an some don't.
Was surprised to hear the drivers council has disbanded. That didn't last long, like to know the story behind that
