Sometimes I wonder if the human species is the most intelligent animal on earth.

I've seen a version of that one from someone videoing the front side of the truck. It just leaves me speechless...until it needs a caption...

"It tows so well I can't even tell it's back there!"

We visited Parker Dam sans fiver, where signs said "No trucks or trailers across Parker Dam." Parker Dam Is outside of Parker, AZ. We stopped at the dam overlook to witness an idiot towing a 40 ft fiver, trying to turn around next to the dam overpass. It was entertaining. Fortunatly he was on the side where there was a parking lot. So he would get it across the lot, disconnect, back in to the hitch at 90 degrees, pull, wait for people to leave. Start over. We crossed the dam and were concerned the our tow vehicle would fit.

We were in a jam on a road leading to the Blue Ridge Parkway. A semi ignored all the signs including the LAST CHANCE TO TURN AROUND sign and was stuck in a hairpin turn.

I rolled down the window and listened to the probably Jamaican accent of the driver and his partner as they slowly came to the realization it was going to be three miles in reverse once the got themselves unstuck.

A good old boy from the neighborhood had walked all the way up front from about twenty cars back. He stopped at my open window and in a great southern drawl said "I don't think they're from around here". I nearly wet my pants laughing. It almost made the forty minute delay worth it.

I saw a very old postulate that there was only so much intelligence in the world and unfortunately the population is increasing.

I can't imagine that he was of sound mind, I'm thinking there was some chemical impairment of some sort...

I saw this back in Sept. shortly after it was posted on Reddit. While the incident is real in that it happened, I seriously question if the driver and the guy that did the video were in cahoots and staged this. I don't believe that DQ employees or management were involved.

But here's the thing. There is clearly damage to the trailer before the turn is attempted. So what was the trailer's real condition before the incident? At no time do you see the driver's face. The guy who shot the video is on the back side of the building, then suddenly in front of the truck (two phones recording?).

There is no video of how he got this out of there, yet if you do a little digging, the same videographer has "after" shots of the truck and trailer parked somewhere showing the damage done. There are some news stories said the driver fled the scene. Yet, did he? Those "after" shots seem to be gone now. I cannot find them anymore.

The Yuma County Sheriffs Office said they could not comment, because the incident happened on private property. Huh? What does private property have to do with it?

There is very little in the news reports about it and only 1 other video taken by a woman passing by. Nothing out there from the employees on SM or quoted in new stories.

I saw some of the aftershots this morning on YouTube. Yes it looks fishy. Damage on the rig behind where it collided with the bldg. and someone photoshopped the front caps decals.

It's sad but you can't even believe what you see anymore!
