Activities or Inactivity?
When we go to the local campground we take walks and participate in some of the campground activities (Bingo!) but usually stick around the camper and sit outside and read or my husband works on his drones (they seem to always need something done to them because they get broken a lot). However, when we travel further, mostly to state parks, we like to do as many things as possible (hiking, kayaking, visiting local shops and/or restaurants). What does everyone else like to do?

We always talk about just sitting around and vegging but those times are coming soon I guess.
We kayak, hike and walk our dogs a lot. Just depends on where we are and the weather.

Like Norty, it depends. When we go to new places our tendency is to play tourist 'till we drop. Hiking, exploring back roads, seeing sights, etc. Even then as we've gotten older we now build in at least a couple of days where we knock off early spend an afternoon relaxing at the camp site, maybe go out for dinner. Otherwise we burn out.
Most trips close to home at familiar places involve biking, some hiking, some touristy stuff, and more than just a few of those lazy afternoons. If it's a Sunday in Sept or Oct and the Packers are playing I set the TV up outside and watch the game.
For me personally all of our trips include heavy doses of photography.

We are also in the "It Depends" camp.
One time it was spend the whole day at the FOTA. Walking the length of Main Street and back. Twice. With browsing, buying and eating.
Other trips I stayed within 50' of the camper for all 4 days. Biggest activity was cooking.
It's vacation time. Nothing planned (usually). Getting lost-ish. Sleeping at the waterfall. Meeting with friends. Etc.!

10 y/o, 8 y/o & 4 y/o in this family, there is never sitting around ... Even as much as DW might try, there is always an activity to be done.

It depends really. If it's a woodsy type of campground, I just sit around and drink. If it's like a beach campground, I just sit around and drink. Now, if it's a state park or something like that, I'll pet the dog and sit around and drink.

Usually a mix for us. Activity during the day and relaxing around the campfire in the evening. Heading out today for 16 nights in Pacific Rim/Tofino on the west coast of Vancouver Island. We will spend our days on the beach bodysurfing, skim boarding, kayaking, snorkeling, beachcombing, etc. and mix that in with visiting the shops in town, biking, hiking etc.
With 3 kids and a golden retriever that LOVE the water and exploring it's pretty hard to spend much time relaxing in our campsite during the day.
