American Soldier

Someone is standing watch today so you can barbeque with friends. Another died so you can worship as you choose. Remember the American soldier. This is their weekend.

An important day to those who have made sacrifices, up to and including the ultimate sacrifice for our nation.

My 11 year old daughter loves to do chalk pictures while camping, she drew this yesterday to honor the American soldier.

And to think that there are some individuals in the current Administration who have been quoted as saying that our military is overpaid . . . . they should be ashamed. Or better yet, invited to spend a couple nights in a foxhole in A-stan on the front lines. That might change their attitude.
