Another country music giant is gone.

The Gentle Giant Don Williams passed away today at 78. One of my favorites.

Saw that as well. Bad day for country music, the old and the new.

Saw the gentle giant in concert 2 years ago in Lancaster, Pa.. Played to a packed house!! Brought tears to my eyes that he could still move people as well as he did 50 years ago. I am truly heart broken to hear of his passing!!

My father was a huge Don Williams fan back in the 70's and 80's. Some of my best memories were listening to his albums with my family back then. He will be missed.

Yes, sir. I believe, like other mythical figures and legends, they are gone. It was what it was. And it and they will continue to be in our hearts and minds. Some things, the best things, are irreplaceable.
