Getting it landed is amazing. And the fact that it stays and does not roll overboard on that wet pitching deck after being landed is pretty good too! I suspect they tie it down post haste, but until they do....

Looks like more fun than the rides at Disneyland. Think I'll pass though.

Happy RVing,
Jeff

NO THANK YOU!!

I spent my tour of duty on a UH1D in Nam, landing on the ONLY ship in the ARMY, the USNS Corpus Christi Bay (originally the USS Albermarle), located in Qui Nhon Bay. It was the FAMF (Floating Aircraft Maintenance Facility).

Below it was a NICE and CALM uneventful day.

No waiting lines there either.

Don

That's worse than almost landing, jumping out, all while getting shot at.. Think Helo pilots are the best pilots in the world. Now, imagine doing that in the dark also ... Great video.

We use to hang 2 500 gallon pods under the chinook and fly them into the jungle camps. What a trip when one of those got shot out from under you!

First Artillery piece on 881S Northwest of Khe Shahn after taking the hill in April 1967. Spent over a month manning that piece, got to shoot the HoChiMin tail in Laos..
