Hoping? It's a given

-10 today.. That brief drizzle made the snow treacherous and glazed over the roads. Need crampons..

We have had about 14 inches in several small storms.

We've had snow on the ground continuously since before Halloween. Definitely going to have a white Christmas. With cold temp to boot

I love snowscapes! A blanket of white over the fields and trees....

Driving on snow-slicked roads? Not a problem. Take it easy, get home safely.

Sharing snow-slicked roads with untrained and frightened fools? That's my only issue with snow.

No worries here. We have 16.5" of snow on the ground now, and it is currently 3F outside with a windchill of -7F. They are predicting a daytime high all the way up to 36 on Wed, but not for long enough to melt all of this, and there is more snow coming on Thursday.

With around 10-12 inches of white stuff on the ground we just got through the coldest weekend in well over a year. Lows around -24F and highs yesterday in the negative single digits.

Looking forward to doing some fat biking and cross country skiing over the holiday weekend as the temps should be a balmy 20 above zero.

In all my years, I can count on one hand the green Christmas's we've had in NYS. Already used three tanks of gas in the snow blower.....maybe four.

As a kid, I loved snow. I actually liked snow 'till I was about 50. As I grow older not so much. 10 day forecast not showing a white Christmas here, sorry for the grandkids.
