A coworker had a windshield shade for his car that had the following printed along the edge: "WARNING! Do Not Operate Vehicle With Shade in Place!"

You have probably seen the sign: "DO NOT STOP ON THE TRACKS" at railroad crossings.

The scary part about that is we are driving on the same roads as the people that actually need that sign!

Kaleefornia is indeed a nation unto itself. Our new WhiteHawk (purchased in Florida) was festooned with tags inside proclaiming the materials and adhesives used in its manufacture were California Air Resources Board 'compliant'. A good thing I suspect compared to snorting formaldehyde off gassing, but the tags were more about Jayco making marketing hay me thinks............

The Prop 65 tags are just easier to blanket apply to a product so they don't violate Prop 65 by accident......and we all pay for the cost of that compliance.

Well that explains buying tire valve stem caps today, in Canada, that told me they cause cancer in California.

Don't get me wrong, cancer isn't funny. But, would I have to eat them?

I am not absolutely certain, but I don't think cancer existed before the invention of lab rats................

It seems that every lawyers dream is a successful class action law suit.

They have certainly crawled out from under their rocks en masse and attacked every medication and medical device that has been marketed in the past 15 years.

This whole thread explains why California is in the hole and Texas is doing great. What worries me is those folks living in their fantasy world will soon move to my state and start screwing it up.

It's already begun. Luckily, most of the Californians I've met (and there's been quite a few) have their head on straight and are more "refugees" than transplants or whatever. Most of them are small business owners, and Cali is not a good place to do business.

On another note, isn't it absolutely stunning how many people die each year being hit by trains or because they didn't wear their seat belt? I just don't understand that...
