Camping Countdown...seven weeks to go

It's been a miserable winter in my part of the world. Cabin fever has been driving me so crazy, the wife and I have made a couple 125-mile round trips just to "check on" our camper since we put it away for the winter.

But good news is on the horizon. Our favorite campground reopens (read they turn the utilities back on) on April 1. Weather permitting, I'm taking the following Friday off and we'll open the season with a three-day weekend.

Yes it is. Listening to the Royals on radio is another thing to look forward to.

Same time here in southern Indiana. Only 6 weeks away. After getting all excited then I watched the Weather Channel only to find out that we're supposed to have a much cooler spring through May. How do they know this crap anyway.
GO CUBS!

X2! County has very nice campground on nearby lake that opens March 19th, we will be there on the 21st for a four night stay. I like to do a lot of the pre-season preventative maintenance at the same time. It has been a rough winter with all the flu and cold wet weather so we are more than exited, good riddance winter of 17-18!

First trip is not until May 18th, but who's counting days? I have a week long trip to FL coming in 3 weeks (not camping, 24 hour road trip each way), but once we return, that opening weekend is all we will be thinking of for several weeks.
