Yep its a bit tongue heavy, probably 900+ when ready to travel. It does tow well for me too.

Just got back from 8 days and 6000 miles on the road. I was lucky enough to take my wife along for half of that so it wade the miles go by much faster. In addition to hualing new units from the factories we also to military transfers of personal RVs.
Towed a 2011 Jayco 28 BHS to Petawawa, Ontario first. Weight was just over 5100 lbs I think and approx. 31 ft in length. Towed really well, handled nice and tracked perfectly.

Then picked up a 2014 Crossroads 380FD park model. Weighed in at 10,600 lbs and 40 ft long. Towed nice for a park model lol! I had extra time on my hands to deliver so I drove around 60 mph and got around 11-12 mpg. Started using my WDH bars again and am seeing some better handling with the park models and an increase in MPGs.

Then another military transfer to Petawawa, Ontario. a 2014 Palomino Solaire 307QBD. Weight approx. 6070 lbs and 33 ft but really tongue heavy for such a small trailer. If axles had of been ahead a bit It would have been a better trailer IMHO. Even the owner commented he had to add air bags to his F150 to keep from bottoming out the suspension.

Then another new unit out of Indiana. A 2014 KZ RV 320BHLKSS. Weight was 6120 lbs and 33.3 ft in length. Really nice and light towing unit. I hate bunkhouse trailers but I liked the layout in this one. You could access everything even with the slide in. You could walk from end to end with the slide in as well. Towed this one approx. 1050 miles and got an avg of 11.62 mpg with cruise set at 63-65 mph.

Ya good point! But when you haul as many 40 plus foot park models as I have lately you don't realize you have something in tow when it's relatively light lol. The last one in the pics the wife made her rookie towing debut with. She towed it approx. 75 miles through northern Quebec and she did awesome. Having a DRW tow vehicle certainly helps improve ones confidence in towing.
Leaving again Tuesday am to pick up in Indiana. Month end is here and manufacturers always scream to get units off their lots before month end.

Got home Friday but went to the beach with our own trailer for the weekend. Logged just over 14,000 kilometres over 12 days on last 2 trips so I was due for some relaxation time lol.
Picked up this 2014 Coachman 273DBS last week and brought it back to the east coast. Nice lightweight trailer. Averaged around 13mpg at 65 mph over 1270 miles. Heading out again in the am for Halifax, Nova Scotia to pick up another military transfer bound for CFB Petewawa, Ontario then off to Indiana and then Winnipeg I think.
Length 30'3"
Hitch Weight 738 lbs
Dry Weight 6,138 lbs
Gross Weight 7,700 lbs

First I picked up another military transfer and hauled it the first few hundred miles of it's journey to our local storage yard. It's headed to Petewawa, Ontario at a later date.
2012 Jayco 31RLDS (I think) weighed in around 9000 lbs as it had some personal items in it. Hauled really well without the WD bars on. I forgot my lower height hitch head at home. Stopped by to see the wife at work on my way by and she snapped the pic for me. In a rare moment you can see my arm in this picture lol!

Then I ran down to Middlebury and picked up this monster! 2014 Jayco Pinnacle 36REQS. It was equipped with a Mor-Ryde pin box and it did smooth out the ride some but I prefer the air bag models (can't recall the brand).

Unloaded Vehicle Weight (lbs) 11,700
Dry Hitch Weight (lbs) 2,670
Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (lbs) 15,950
Cargo Carrying Capacity (lbs) 4,250
Exterior Length 40' 1"

Leaving here (Winnipeg) in the am to go back to Jayco Middlebury and pick up a 2014 Jayco 28 BHBE to bring back to Winnipeg. I'm just waiting for someone to chime in on these units and say it's their new trailer!

2014 Jayco Swift 287BHBE out to Winnipeg. Gotta love these lightweight trailers behind a 1 ton truck, makes for some easy towing miles that's for sure.
Unloaded Vehicle Weight (lbs) 6,495
Dry Hitch Weight (lbs) 700
Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (lbs) 9,250
Exterior Length 33' 3"

Then this 2014 Puma Palamino Park model 39PRL. FOr being a park model it towed really well, lucked out and had a decent tailwind for about half the trip back to Saint John, New Brunswick. This unit was different in that the bedroom was at the front and it had a "standard looking trailer front end". The rear is the big window less aerodynamic end.
Did not realize until just now that the pic I took did not catch the whole length lol.
Length 40'3"
Width 8'0"
Height 11'9"
Hitch Weight 1,265 lbs
Dry Weight 9,785 lbs
Gross Weight 11,425 lbs

Took an un planned 2.5 week holiday as I needed to rebuild the tranny in my Dodge. That was cheap....
Anyways hauled this 2014 Coachmen Catalina 40TBS to Winnipeg. Yellow sticker on trailer said 9200 lbs IIRC, Canada Customs pwork said 9605 lbs, and web says 9010 lbs. Talk about inconsistency lol. Heading back to pick up a 2014 Jayco 33BHTS on Sunday.
Hitch Weight 1,075 lbs.
Base Weight 9,010 lbs.
Exterior Length 40' 9"
