Picked up a 2014 Jayco Jayflight 28BHBE. I finally brought my other hitch head with me and set it up for the Jaycos with the coupler on the bottom of the frame. It towed much better after changing the height and angle. Only been meaning to do that for 6 months or so. Very nice and smooth towing trailer. Hitch not set up properly in this pic.
Unloaded Vehicle Weight (lbs) 6,430
• Dry Hitch Weight (lbs) 665
• Exterior Length 33' 3"

Then I picked up another 2014 Coachman Catalina 39FLFB. This trailer had a triple sliding glass patio door! These park models are really being set up nice, too bad they didn’t tow nice lol. And after reviewing the pic it seems I was too lazy to walk back far enough to fit the whole trailer in the pic.
Hitch Weight 1,200 lbs. (544 kg)
Base Weight 8,980 lbs. (4,073 kg)
Exterior Length 40' 9" (12.4 m)

While zig sagging across the mid west I crossed paths with another driver that works for the same company as me. We finally caught up to each other in Clearwater, MN and had a 2 truck convoy into Winnipeg. His 2006 Dodge has just over 1,600,000 kilometres on it. Original motor, 4th or 5th transmission I believe.

Our Jayco 30dsre is sitting out in the factory yard waiting to be hauled to the Oregon coast. You dont seem to head out this way....bummer. Would have like to track your process. Stay safe as we head into winter.

That would be awesome but I only deliver to Canada. I am not looking forward to the snowy roads again this year........

I am not sure as to where I read this, but Camping World is going bring the TT delivery process "InHouse". Not sure as to why, but that is their plan for 2014. I do not know how much of the commercial towing business depends on them.

Fortunately none of my business depends on them. I suspect due to their market share and number of dealerships it may just be more cost effective for them to do it their selves. This is not a new idea, one of the Canadian based RV hauling companies here is owned by one of the major RV dealerships based in Ontario.

Been home since last week but after being on the road for 15 days and 15, 000 kilometres I have been relaxing lol.
2014 Puma 39 PLF I think was the model on this one. Towed like a typical park model of course. I guess I am getting use to these large bumper pull trailer, last 3 0f 4 deliveries were park models. First pic truck looks funny because driver front corner jacked up as I am sitting at a garage getting a leaky valve stem replaced (second of the trip).
Dry Hitch Weight 1,695 lbs. (769 kg)
Unloaded Vehicle Weight 9,565 lbs. (4,339 kg)
Exterior Length 41' 9" (12.7 m)

Historically this is the slow time for RV haulers and I was told to expect a 4-8 week slow time now. Well that changed when we picked up orders for approx. 160 trailers to move at the end of last week. That will fill up the next 8-10 weeks no problem!
First time hauling a Heartland RV. One of the other drivers told me that their quality control was not as high as other manufacturer.......well I got to the yard and one of the outer fridge vent covers was missing and the weather stripping on bottom ox door was falling off already. Went to the plant and they replaced / repaired what was wrong. Somewhere on the way to Brandon, Manitoba the cover blew off (guessing not installed correctly) and I was waiting for the wheel skirt to blow off on the driver's side but it never did. Nice looking unit but IMHO on the lower end of the scale for quality. BTW I would rather tow a 41 ft park model over a short (29'9") 5er.....my truck is not ideal for short trailers lol. Ok time to go replace a wheel bearing / hub assembly on the Dodge! Just another simple driveway repair job ha ha
2014 Heartland Prowler P27
weight 8230 lbs
length 29' 9"
hitch weight....not listed on their website

Picked up a 2014 Coachman Freedom Express 320 BHDS. Nice towing trailer with the spread axles. Of the trailers Iíve towed I would say the Coachmans are on par with the Jaycos as far as road manners. Pic show it sitting in my driveway as I arrived home late Saturday night and dealership is 35 minutes from my house so I will deliver Monday am.
Hitch Weight 841 lbs. (381 kg)
Base Weight 7,015 lbs. (3,182 kg) Customs paperwork lists it at 7935 lbs
Exterior Length 36' 11" (11.3 m)

Then today I went and picked up my fatherís trailer from the beach and brought it home for him. Not sure what year this thing is. Weighs in around 9000lbs and has to be one of the heaviest tongue weight trailers Iíve ever moved! Pic is after I just unhooked so itís sitting with nose up in the air.
