looks good! So are you now truly working for yourself or do you have a broker?

Technically speaking I am an owner / operator for another 1 man operation. He finds the work and does some driving as well. Works good for me. He finds all the work, covers any cross border paperwork, etc....

Always look forward to your updates. That 4 lane hwy in NB and NS must really help with travel time. It will be nice when the 4 lane is all done in Quebec.
Ontario must seem like a bottle neck when heading west on mostly 2 lane hwy. We are heading west in June, do you think it is realistic to cover From the Ottawa area to Sault Ste.Marie and then Sault Ste. Marie to Thunder Bay in 2 days? We have only driven to Sault Ste. Marie, over 2 days, back in 2007. Is there lots of diesel with good access? Any advice would be welcome.

I just did the Ottawa to Sault Ste Marie part a few weeks ago. Long day but not bad. Sault to Thunder Bay is also quite manageable. Both days are 8 plus hours of driving plus stops. Lots of fuel but kind of spaced apart. I carry 110 gallons so I wasn't looking as hard as others. Roads were horrible around Sudbury if i recall.

Thanks for the response. We figured around 9 or 10 hours. We usually carry a 5 gallon jic and might add another.

Few more trips. Headed out today for a load of ATVs, snowmobiles, and sea-doos...should be interesting. I need to go back to the boat location and pick up that one covered in the red tarp in the next few days.

Cool pics! Thanks for the updates. This thread is like watching our very own JOF "Shipping Wars" episode.

So Green, how are you finding this kind of towing compared to the RV towing?
