Finally got a pic uplopaded now that i'm home. Mileage was decent until the last 180 miles of the 700 ish mile trip. I had to get to the dealership before they closed at 5pm or spend another night in the truck so unfortunately i saw single digit mpgs for the last 3 hours. It's funny the things you pick out after hauling so many different trailers. On this one the front top clearance lights were not visible in my mirrors and that is something i usually check via the mirrors as i'm driving.

Sorry pic is sideways and i cant fix it right now lol

Just got word I'm picking up a JAYCO this time!!! 2013 Jayco Jayflight 33RLDS. I hate bumper pulls but looking forward to hauling a Jayco finally. I like the floorplan on this trailer for a personal unit but honestly I'll never own another bumper pull lol. I'll post extra pics just because it's a Jayco. Picking it up on Tuesday.

Thanks for rent pictures. Always enjoy your posts.
Nice to hear how much you like the 5ers over the bumper pull.

If I ever go big, I'll keep your input in the back of my mind.

Safe travels,
Doug

Don't have the VIN, Dealer said won't have it until the trailer comes in but I know thats not true because she told me before when the trailers built she'll know because a VIN gets assigned to it. Not sure why she's holding out but she is. Anyways where awaiting The Whitehawk 28dsbh 2 of them actually as my brother has ordered the same unit. Enjoy hauling that Jayco and Be Safe!

2013 Jayco Jayflight 33RLDS. Towed very well and not just saying this but EVERYTHING seems better on the Jayco compared to the other makes I've hauled. I've complained on here veseveral times re the electric jacks well Jayco uses Atwood and it rocks! Much faster than the other brand I've used, and it's set back far enough to lower the tailgate fully! Even there operation and factory set ups are smoother looking. jdorant...I looked but seriously you would not believe how big their yard(s) are! Use google maps and look at corner of Hwy 20 and 13 in Middlebury, IN. They are spread out over several fields and buildings.
Here is a pic of the Jayco along with 2 other pics. Jayco is the only one so far that I've hauled that has the coupler on the bottom of the frame. Well my hitch head is too high and I was in a rush so I threw the snap up brackets on and hooked up the WD bars knowing they was too much tension but I only had 1.5 hrs to go for the day and I said I'd fix it when parked for the night. Well I made it to my stop and had to make a tight right turn into truck stop and then another right al this over a elevation change of about 6 feet in less than 15 feet or so. Well I heard a snap and looked back and saw this on the road (pic # 3). Luckily for me no damage to trailer or my truck.

think I can weld it???

Question for greenenvy1: Do you notice any difference in braking on a new rig at the beginning of the trip and the end?

I had new brakes installed on my rig and they were right when they said they would need to be "burnished" in for the first hundred miles or so before being fully affective.

greenenvy1, thanks for looking, but my trailer arrived in tynsgboro, MA on Tuesday and my brothers arrived Wednesday so I don't think the where even there. We both take delivery on them Fri and Sat. I'm excited to hear that you could open your tailgate with the atwood. I could not fully open it with my last trailer that had an aftermarket power tongue jack. Hopefully the atwood will make all the difference with my truck as well. Someday, I would like to take a trip to the factory.

They always seem a little twitchy at first. Actually I hate my brake controller and a higher end unit is on my wish list. I can never seem to get the brakes adjusted to my liking with the Reese unit I have now.

You know what I used to like snow! Now I'm just tired of driving in it. Seems like EVERY trip I've done to date there has been some kind of snow. Today between Fargo and Grand Forks was horrible snow and fog. WHereabouts in MN are you? I'll be passing through there on Sat and possibly again on Sun or Mon.
