On the 1427th day of the 19th century, nothing significant happened.

Well DG - the date you are looking for is Wednesday, November 28, 1804. On that date Mr. William Clark wrote the following, so you are right -- not much done that day....
Maybe 1430 days after were better?
[Clark]
28th Novr. Wednesday 1804
a cold morning wind from the N. W river full of floating ice, began to Snow at 7 oClock a'm and continued all day at 8 oClock the Poss-cop-so-he or Black Cat Grand Chief of the Mandans Came to See us, after Showing Those Chiefs many thing which was Curiossities to them, and Giveing a fiew presents of Curioes Handkerchiefs arm bans & paint with a twist of Tobaco they departed at 1 oClock much pleased, at parting we had Some little talk on the Subject of the British Trader Mr. Le rock Giveing Meadils & Flags, and told those Chiefs to impress it on the minds of their nations that those Simbells were not to be recved by any from them, without they wished incur the displieasure of their Great American Father— a verry disagreeable day— no work done to day river fall 1 Inch to day

Hey tafische, you are quite a historian. I wonder if ol' William Clark would ever have dreamed that in the 21st century, a couple of RV nuts would be discussng his "veery disagreeable day" he was having on 11-28-1804. He probably would have thought we both fell off the wagon...head first.

In 1434 - John I, Duke of Bourbon died.....
I have no idea who he was...but I like the name! As a matter of fact...I think I will put on a royal robe and play the Duke of Bourbon this weekend....or was it the Earl of Whiskey?
I saw Crabby the other day.....he was going to either be the Shah of Schlitz or the Prince of Pabst.
We all know that Healthi is already playing the Maharajah of Merlot.

The number of minutes in a day.
On IBM mainframe computers running under OS, if TIME=1440 was specified on the JOB card, it meant that the job was never ending.
Have a safe and reverent Memorial Day everyone.
Remember our heroes that were killed in the line of duty. You’re here, because they were here for you- and paid the ultimate price.
