Cursed

It is now official. I am cursed, it might be the mirrored wall, black marbled tile by black marbled tile, I removed in 1985 or the tiles that broke as they were removed, seven years for each one? Gads I have another 100, or so, years before the curse is lifted. Maybe gypsies cursed me for some unknown reason, or aliens abducted me and put a curse chip in my brain, will we ever know? Probably not, but I am cursed.

Finally I got on the road, got to my first camp site, that wasn't a friends backyard, and my fridge, that the dealership couldn't find a problem with, broke.

Two days into the trip it breaks, and during the night, ruining several days worth of good beef and sausage, and other foods. Had to trash all since what was near the meat was contaminated if it had been opened. Joy oh Joy.

Since camping without a fridge isn't fun and is very difficult when you're buying ice every day and sometimes twice a day, depending on temperature and the state of your cooler(s) if you brought one, a fridge is necessary. At least for me it is, on a long trip. My plans were about 10 days here, and 15 days in the U.P.

As I had to cancel two other trips this year it seems like I'm cursed. Taking the trailer back to Detroit may be inconvenient it is still necessary since they will cover whatever is the problem. And since I found a couple other small problems they'll check those out too. Isn't it great? Cursed I say cursed.

Just venting a bit, sometimes you just have to... now packing up camp that's where the real curse is, aargh! Anyone want to come help? I'm right here Mackinaw Mill Creek campgrounds. Come on over I have the little guy now officially named Little Monster "moderator edit". She is certainly a girl trailer.

Oh, and I just found out the lens on my camer is kaput. "Moderator edit" they just keep coming.

Later y'all

Get up on the other side of the bed in the morning - maybe that will help....

Of course with my smaller OFF-ROAD POPUP TRAILER setup what you described is my daily ops anyway...

I'm pretty much used to it now...

As Long as I can get my COFFEE FIX for the day nothing else matters...

I work real hard at always having a good PLAN B ready to put into place...

I thought you had lined up a used camper purchase in Woodhaven/Brownstown and then off to a friend in Pinckney? I didn't know you were still in Michigan. I'll be close (Petoskey) but too late to help since I'm no leaving till Friday.
