I used to think I'd like DST. Indiana adopted it 7 or 8 years ago I think but I really don't like it being light out till 10pm. It is what it is I guess.

I love the area where my cousin lives in Huntingburg. He's on the N side of the street, not E, and is in EST. The S side of the street is CST... ???

My internal alarm goes off close to 6 every day. When time changes it takes a week for it to reset to new clock time.

My clock is set for 4:05. I wake up usually 3:40 every morning. I can't remember the last time I slept until the alarm went off.

Older brother lives in Phoenix. He has woken friends in California many times by calling at the “wrong time”.

Why change the clocks. What a ridiculous thing to do. And after changing it one way you change it back the other way.

My internal alarm goes off at 7 a.m. each day. But I just hit “snooze” and ignore it

Yup and there is talk about ending DST. That's OK. We'll wait with our clocks unchanged.

I like getting up early and doing something even though I have been retired three years. Normally have a new project or activity planned the night before. Or finishing one up.

I love it!!! In the northern states the longer days add a lot of hours, and in the morning without DST we would have daylight at 4:00 am. On the summer solstice I enjoy sunrise just after 5:00 am and sunset after 9:30 pm.

Perspective has a lot to do with where you live for some people. Falling back in Florida means the warm evening is just an hour longer. Falling back in Pennsylvania however makes the long cold winter night seem even longer. Add in the fact the sun sets earlier the further north you get and those winter nights can be pretty devastating for those with seasonal affective disorders. So springing forward is psychologically uplifting for some of us northerners. It was 7 this morning, but hey, we set the clocks ahead Sunday so Spring is right around the corner!
You know, the older I get the more I think about New Mexico.

I do have problems for a few weeks adjusting because the only alarms I have now is wake up at 6am. If the sun is already shining outside I feel like I missed something.
