Do this to Fix Slow WiFi?

I'm sure that everyone on this forum has seen this ad tons of times...

but have you ever looked at the back of that WiFi router in the picture closely? It's a Linksys 54 G series. Old as the hills. I have several of them here, all now mothballed. I retired the last one few months ago. I took a picture of it so you can see the detail better

I have to agree with what the ad says, it is a slow WiFi all right. If fact, for the one in the ad, there's no WiFi at all. If you look at my enlarged photo, between the right most Ethernet port and the right antenna, you'll see a little hole there. That's where the power supply gets plugged in. In the ad, you can see there is no line coming from there, so there is nothing powering the unit. So, it's obvious the WiFi is slow, if fact it's dead!

Isn't technology fun?

WHAT! How is that possible? A dishonest ad. Oh my, oh my.

Nice catch as it is pretty funny though. No power, no play. Interesting that you knew the model #.
