Does anyone use a thunder shirt on there dog

I searched but didn't find a discussion about this topic. Our dog is scared of thunder to the point that she crams herself into the smallest place she can find. I wanted to know if anyone out there uses a thunder shirt, or has another thing they do to help with dogs anxiety while camping.

My dog is a big scardy cat of a lot of things, including thunder. I haven't tried the thunder shirt. I have read mixed reviews on it. The only thing that helps my pooch at all is to be plastered to my side. Like he is right now due to some thunder...and a tornado watch!!

We had one that helped our last doggie. The new 2 are not phased by stormy weather.
We used to give her a piece of benedryl before the Thunder shirt. It also helped.

Our dog has a real problem with thunder from storms as well as fireworks. She will shake she becomes so fearful. Some friends told us of the thunder shirt so we thought we'd give it a try. It has absolutely no effect on her fear!

I can vouch for the Benadryl, but a friend tried the Thundershirt on her lab and it didn't work for her. I would say it depends largely on the dog.

Our mutt isn't scared of thunder or loud noises, he's more like aggressive toward them. He'll run himself into the ground barking and carrying on during a thunderstorm. Seems like he's trying to catch it! He has hurt himself pretty bad once or twice and kept the neighbors up all night once when we had to leave him out overnight and it stormed. We were out in a tent in the back country, when we returned to civilization, we had at least a dozen voicemails from our neighbors! But I digress...

Our little dog just hides in our lap. She doesn't like any loud noises. I really don't think a shirt would help her.

I'm the same way. I've found that a couple thunder margaritas help 😜😜

Our lap dog (80lbs) doesn't like pedicures so the vet gave us a prescription for 0.25mg Xanax. We slip him one of those in a doggy treat before a toenail job. Would probably work the same for loud noise anxiety issues.
