I would have no need for a doggie door if I came back to that....dog would be gone.

My first instinct would be to send the little critter to doggie heaven.

But it's not his fault. He was probably freaking out about being left in an unfamiliar environment. High energy dog + little to no training + unfamiliar environment = disaster.

Yup. I bet that before the 'breakout', the dog had warned them by unsuccessfully scratching at doors.

At least the dog is not a runner, he is still home.
