Go to "Google Earth" type in "Shorty Cox Hollow", it will take you to a wooded area in SE Oklahoma. I spent some time along that hollow some 40 years ago. Thus, when looking for a handle for the internet, that is what I chose.

You're closer Colorado though, I would really love to take the TT out to the Rockies one day... It would take me a day of driving just to get to you! I'm just East of San Antonio off IH-10.

We spent 10 days in Northern New Mexico/Southern Colorado last June. Beautiful part of the country. LOVED IT. We are almost exactly 1/2 way between Lubbock & Amarillo on I-27. Little place called Tulia. If you ever decide to come North give me a shout and I'll meet ya at the truck stop on I-27 and buy you a cup of coffee.

Likewise!

I spent the better part of my youth backpacking those very mountains in NM and CO, and I've always dreamt of going back...

I am a moderator on another forum, dedicated to Quitting tobacco, specifically chewing tobacco. I've been Quit for over four years with their help.

When I was actively dipping people would always ask me when I was going to give it up, and my response was usually, "No one likes a quitter."

So that was originally my screen name for that forum. It quickly got shortened to Nolaq. I've been Nolaq ever since.

If anyone is interested in quitting dipping or smoking, send me a PM.

There is a creek that ran through property we owned a bunch of years ago when we first started breeding and raising quarter horses. The creek was off of the Cariboo river so we named our ranch Cariboo Creek.

We don't own that particular piece of property anymore but we still use the name for all of our other interests.

I have the same engine on my boat. The thing is unstoppable. Best boat motor I've ever owned.

I love to fish for trout with a flyrod. Wading in those cold, clear mountain streams is such a kick 'cause trout don't grow in ugly places. Back when I first had to come up with a user name, I tried for "woolybugger," a popular fly in most folks fly boxes. Of course, it was taken, along with any other fly name I came up with. I used to be pretty wide and I love wade fishing, so "widewader" it was and still is.

The diminutive form of my first name + the PO box number + the first 2 letters of the town when I left the house on the leading edge of The Divorce.

I had to start creating a life separate and distinct from my soon-to-be-ex-wife, so I came up with something that didn't include her or the house.

I love sharing with others both the beauty and logical nature of the Catholic faith. It's a good conversion starter.

Bansai223 is my 'gamer tag' on PS3, PS4, and a dozen or so forums. I think I was drinking when I came up with it, which explains the spelling mistake (should be Bonsai) 223 is one of the rifle calibers that I enjoy shooting in matches... (and it saved my butt in the Army)... 5 beers later, I merged the 2 and Bansai(223) was born. You can just call me Mark though...
