Wow, I'll give this a shot. The villain part first. In the late 90's I wore my hair in a spike type style. I went to an import car show with a bunch of buddies and we all stayed in a hotel room together. After a night of "indulging" pretty heavily, I was the first one up and in the shower. When I came out of the bathroom, one of my buddies looked at me and in his hungover state mumbled that my hair reminded him of a Batman villain, because it never changes. This got a rise out of the whole room. I was known as the villain from then on. The 2000 comes from my other passion, my Honda s2000 sports car.

I grew up near Cape Cod. When we were kids, we would go to the beach and dig under the sand for clams (quahogs are really just large clams) with our toes... we'd find them, stuff them into our bathing suits and when we had too many there to risk losing our trunks, we'd head back to the beach and put them under a wet towel. My Mom would cook them up and make quahog chowder, stuffed quahogs (aka stuffies), or we'd just eat them as is.

Now the secret is out.

Well... When my husband was a young boy, he used to invent board games and wanted a pen name so he took letters from his first name (Phil) ph and letters from his last name (Varcoe) ar0e. He decided to be creative and used a zero instead of an o. We just seem to use that name for a lot of things and it has just stuck !

Mine relates to my 3 wonderful kids. 3 weeks after we brought home our first TT my wife found out we were having a 3rd child.

Problem was that my old unit only had 2 bunks. So we knew we were going to need to upgrade to a 4 bunk unit over time which we did and we are not filling that 4th bunk!

Friends and cousins can use it...although everytime the DW holds or sees a baby that twinkle comes my way...you know the one I mean gentelmen...hence my screen name 3'senough was born.

I think you should fill that 4th bunk, and soon!

Educational/insightful thread. Thanks for the bump, healthi. Mine if anybody wants to know came from when I was in U.S. Army Infantry basic training. My drill sergeant was going off on one of his maniacal rants and crazed antics and he said he would "come over there and do a cheetah flip kick on our heads"(whatever that is). I made the mistake of not keeping my laugh(more like a faint chuckle) "on the inside". What transpired after that was not pretty nor amusing. It stuck w/my Army buddies, I adopted it, hence the moniker.

My nicknames given to me over the years have been: Flash, Mad Dog, Handsome, Ditch, Crash, Capt. and I was too embarrassed to use any of those when I needed something for this forum.

So I looked out the window at 'Secret Cove" and realized I was a 'Dave', problem solved.

Didn't think about how long it takes to type it though!? Doh!

Obviously I'm an International Harvester fan from birth. My grandpa who died before I was born purchased a Farmall C which my mom still owns and will be owned by me when she passes. mcfarmall = m is for Mc, c is for Cormick and farmall is what it is. My avatar is an IH 1066 Turbo which is representative of what I consider to be the overall best looking series of tractors IH ever made...the 66 series.

My nick name since child hood has been Norty. I guess it is a shortened version of my middle name, Northrop. I used it on another forum so I used Norty1 here.

NY = New York
Lyon = last name
NYLyon - I tried to use my old CB handle "Storm" but that was taken on other forums. I wanted something that was simple enough for me to remember and that would be unique so have the same name everywhere. I even own NYLyon.com which is a forum my kids use!
