Explain your username
Ok - you guys have some unique usernames....I get some of them, and others I have NO idea....
So...tell us what it means....
Mine is pretty boring actually -- back in the early 90s my company got on the internet bandwagon. Our email address and IDs could only be 8 characters...they used your first initial, middle initial, and 6 characters from the last name....it stuck and I just used it ever sense for an id....
How about you?

In 1976 when everybody had a CB radio I bought a new Honda CR125 race bike. I unloaded the bike, my first racer, and in less than 10 minutes I managed to thrash the clutch. My friends never let me forget so I have been CLUTCH ever since. I did get better and raced bikes in cross country and moto cross for 17 years.

Last year while camping at Indian Lake State Park we found a new seasonal campground that we really liked. One thing lead to another and we ended up selling our camper so we could upgrade to something more comfortable with more space for extended weekend stays. Then came the bright idea if we were staying at the lake, a pontoon might be in order. We pick up the Bennington next weekend. Now, I'm just dying for someone to ask me what we're doing for the weekend because I'm going to say...."Headed to the Lake!" I'm a goof, what can I say....

Shin Pond is a four season camp in Northern Maine; I have been deer hunting that area with some good friends for the past 15+ years. Some of my politically-correct friends chastise me and ask: "How can you kill Bambi?". I tell them, that in the 15+ years of hunting this region, I have only harvested 2 bucks... So, basically, the only thing I'm "killing" is my LIVER while I'm up there for the week

I've been building and flying model airplanes most of my life.
When I had to pick a username, I looked up and saw a box of envelopes on the shelf. The brand name was "Topflight". Now you know.

Ahh, that`s what that means. I have spent countless hours searching wikipedia, history books, zoological books, dictionaries, old encyclopedias, internent searches, library archives trying to figure out just what a tafische is. My quest is now over.

Truth is I don`t own any zoological books or many of the others either, just pulling tafische`s leg. We do now know that no fish are involved, AKA crab bait!

Many years ago I ran across a Car and Driver Magazine reprint of the September 1966 road test of a 1966 Plymouth Fury station wagon that they dubbed The C/D "Boss Wagon".
The car was equipped with a 383 HP engine, and heavy duty suspension to which they added Koni shocks and Goodyear Blue Streak Police Special tires.
They stated in the article " The Boss Wagon can out handle many highly touted sports cars, and does it with a minimum of fuss. It can also dispatch some pretty stiff competition on the impromptu drag race circuit".
I thought the car was neat and liked the name. In later years Car and Driver resurrected the Boss Wagon name and applied it to several projects.
When I bought my used E-350 Super Duty Chateau van I thought about the name Boss Wagon since Ford sometimes refers to the Econoline as a "Club Wagon". Ford also likes the name Boss.
When I thought about the van's attributes; short body, 1 ton chassis, with the 6.8 v-10, I thought that's kind of "Boss" as we would have said back in the day.
The license plate BOSS WGN was available when I registered the van, so there you have it. I used the van's name for my username here.
Some people ask me who is the the Boss, me or the wife, they don't get it when I tell them the van is the Boss.
