Flooding in Iowa, Nebraska and Missouri

My heart aches for the people of Nebraska, Iowa and NW Missouri that are dealing with the flooding. My DWs' grandfather is 87 and spent his whole life in the Gibbon/Shelton, Nebraska area and said he never saw flooding like this...but they didn't get the worst of it.

This video from the Nebraska State Patrol shows the flooding near Hamburg, Iowa (I-29 and HWY 2). We stop at that Sapp Bros store several times a year on the way to Nebraska and I've never seen flood waters that far East.

Here's one from Wellington, Mo. east of Kansas City. Flood stage for our area is 17', it's currently at 25.7' and expected to crest a little over 27'. During the Flood of 93' crest was 33'.

The river is supposed to crest today, good thing this is the front of our water plant. A couple levees are on the verge of breaking about a mile downstream for here.
