Florida Hurricane 2022

We hope that all of our friends in Florida are paying close attention to the weather forecast and stocking up on fuel right now, planning your contingency plan and possible evacuation.

Our Florida locations were notified today that our deliveries of Diesel after Sunday are uncertain at best due to forecasted weather.

We are in Charleston and are also watching this one closely. We are planning on leaving on Wed. for a trip to Upstate and W. NC so it could be perfect timing for us as we were leaving anyway.

Sure hope Fl. dodges this one.

The APP, Windy, will give you a very good color moving picture, winds, rain and projected track for this storm. You can also track it using different forecast models, although I would stick with the ECMWF, as it has proven itself over the years as the most reliable. The latest changes in the track now has it beginning to break up over northern Florida and visiting the central Georgia area, much weaker at this point.

Horrible catastrophic storm. I feel for the tens of thousands of people who's life's could be forever changed because of this storm. It's not over by any stretch either. Really bad situation! Praying for those impacted.

Currently in St. Cloud Fla....though degraded center of "hurricane" changed course and went through us.
Loud night in RV with wind and rain. Pulled in sliders.

Was supposed to head to "KOA lion country safari" today but decided to wait for tomorrow when winds die down. They were real nice and cancelled my reservation as some of their sites were in standing water.

Osceola CO (Kissimmee) and Seminole CO (Altamonte Springs) has immense street flooding, even part of the Turnpike is flooded at RT 408 and RT 528 exits. Supposedly first time it has been shut down due to rain.

My father lives in Port Charlotte and thankfully emerged generally unscathed but power will be out for quite some time. Catastrophic damage in Lee and Charlotte counties among others.

We live in the Tampa bay area and kept a close watch on Ira.
We live in a 40+ foot destination trailer but have a motor home with a dolly to tow our car.
We fled north and west to Lilian Alabama about 500 miles and enjoyed sunny skies while just south of where we live Ira hit bad.
Our trailer and park survived but the roof was ripped off of the office and adjoining porch and carport
