Gas rising again, nearly at parity with diesel
Gas up 20 cents here in the last week to 3.56 a gallon, diesel 3.70 as of today. That`s the closest they have been here in quite some time with only a 14 cent difference.

$3.56? Count your blessings. Its $3.75 where I live. And we just got off a several month spell of two refineries being down. It went down for about 2 weeks, and now its back up again. While everyone else was paying $3.40 a gal, we were paying $3.90 - $4.10. Diesel is $3.79 here right now.

Here in Michigan unleaded regular jumped to $3.99 this past weekend....., week ago I paid $3.52.

In my area of Central California Diesel and Reg Unleaded have been very close to parity for several weeks.
Today at the "cheap no brand" station, Regular Unleaded $3.84 and Diesel $3.89. The branded fuel along the highway, Reg Unleaded $3.99 Diesel $4.09.
In the past several months cheapest diesel has been is ~$3.80 and unleaded ~$3.50.

$3.08 yesterday at Sam's Club for regular unleaded. Guess I should count my blessings! Ours is usually one of the cheaper states. It was even a few cents cheaper over the 4th down at the ocean.

Wow diesel has been cheaper than gas around Chicago for most of the summer. Gas is about 3.99 diesel about 3.75.

Here in Central NY 87 octane gas is $3.79 and diesel is $4.29.

Well, at today's dollar exchange rate, that works out to be $4.65 in US dollars for a US gallon of regular unleaded. Sales tax and something called excise tax, are the main reason it's about a buck a gallon more here. I feel for those in Quebec, where they add another $0.50 per gallon on top of that for taxes. We like towing our TT through the USA for the lower (relative) gas prices, and the beautiful CG's you have there, not to mention wonderful people.

$1.52 / liter here. Haven't done the math but a liter is roughly a quart so multiply by 4 to get US gallons.... Roughly.

YIKES! We may have to re-think our trip to The Finger Lakes this September. I'm getting used to 3.59 (Diesel) here in NW AR.

Oh and diesel is still 5 to 10 cents a liter cheaper the regular.

I filled up with Diesel in Washington this past weekend for $3.99 Gal divided by 3.78 litres per gallon = $1.05 litre approx $1.12 with exchange so I did much better than the $1.41 Per litre I was seeing at our pumps.

Gas went to 3.74 this morning, was told it will jump again tomorrow.

The spread is widening once more between gas and diesel. After being near parity earlier this Summer there is now a 60 cents spread here. Gas 3.30, diesel 3.90

Paid $3.10 for 87 octane gas today in Harrisonburg, VA. Been going down steadily for the last two or three weeks. I hear there is a surplus of gas because fewer folks are driving long distances this summer for vacation. Translation: they can't get rid of it at higher prices.
