Gotta have a Microwave

Have to say I saw the best camp set up ever. A few campsites over from us a young couple drove in for one night. They pitched a tent, setup 2 chairs around the fire and then dragged out the cooler. Then they went back to the car ..... and pulled out a microwave. What happened to the days of bbqs??

That is great. When we tent camped and realized that most spots we camped at had electric, we started taking fans and/or electric heaters for the tent. As far as a microwave, I did not even want to carry one in our old pop-up, despite DW wanting one. Did not use a microwave camping, until I lived in the pop-up for 3 months for a job. Of course, now we love having a microwave.

Funny, the first thing I did with our TT was remove the microwave and put in a shelf and a door for storing all the dish towels and garbage bags.

Friends of ours; while dry camping with us, fired up their generator one morning so that they could make pancakes on their electric griddle even though I offered use of our coleman and pan I always make pancakes on... she was scared of cooking on propane. Go with what you know I guess!
