Great first trip in our new jayco

Hey all. Our first trip with our new 26bh has come and past. We went to KOA niagara falls, Ontario. Camp care weekend.
We seen all weather options in one weekend but was good to try everything out. Im glad to say everything worked perfectly, didnt find any issues.
The tips and hints from this site sure made everything go flawlessly. Found myself thinking back to things i have read on this forum as i was setting up. Made me feel like less of a newby (had a pop up before but new to full size TT)
Only bit of trouble I had was the list app on my phone decided the morning we were leaving to delete everything i had entered. Guess i should have backed it up. O well had a list of "forgottens" at end of trip but nothing major.

At the end of our trips my wife and i always ask our daughters to tell us their favorite things about the trip. And we write them down in a note book along with things we want to remember about the weekend. Thought i would share.
Sometimes kids can be brutally honest but these answers were pretty tame

Jersey age 6. Pool, tether ball, being pushed in the wagon while she steered. Smores. When asked about the new trailer her answer was -to hard to pick one thing ask her again next time.

Shyla age 4. Everything, meeting a new friend at the park, Smores, driving the wagon. When asked about the new trailer her answer was -all the parts and sleeping in it.

I love the answers we get from the kids. Reminds me it's the little things that really matter to kids. And to never forget smores....

long post... sorry. Thanks for reading

Congrats on the new trailer. Nice to hear the first outing was a success. Your daughter Jersey's answer about tether ball reminded me of our trip this past march to Tennessee. My family had a tether ball setup growing up but I had never seen one since. While camping in Tennessee the KOA had a tether ball setup and my young sons loved it. Brought back a lot of memories for me...
