Another back at you!

My 4th has been nice and lazy. I'm staying with friends in San Marcos, CA. Other than driving to the grocery store and walking the dog, I really haven't done anything. They are hitting the hay early tonight because himself has to go into work early tomorrow. I'm going to to do a bit of laundry in a bit then sack out myself.

We had a great 4th. It did start with a pretty good storm so we ended up picking up the camp and awning, etc. But by mid afternoon the sun was back out and things were drying.

First time all the cousins and the soon to be cousins have gotten together so I had my entire family at the site (12 Kids and 8 adults). Also got to meet my new sister in law. We have a huge lake front site and they swam in the lake, kayaked, and did crafts (my cub scout time is really paying off!). Cooked a bunch of steaks on the grill and then Ended the day with glow sticks, red white and blue finger flashlights and sparklers.

Here is a story from a local Television station reporting on the damage done on Friday evening. See the first picture on above post and you will see some hint of what was to come.
