Happy Halloween! How do you celebrate?

Do you hand out candy at the RV park?
Do you dress up as the RV Salesperson Vampire?

Or do you head for the hills to avoid the whole thing?

I'm not a fan of Halloween, so we don't celebrate. We hand out candy and enjoy the younger kids costumes, but so many have taken things to what I consider an extreme that it isn't all that enjoyable.

We have a big Fall Festival at our church and welcome the community. We usually have 500 to 600 kids and adults having a great time . Hot Dogs, pony rides, dunking booth, slides etc.

Also This is my retirement anniversary from AT&T, so it is a "Very Special" day for me.

Head for the hills - we'll go to a movie tonight and avoid the whole thing.

Used to really get into it when my kids were little but now that we're empty nesters and we only have a half dozen kids in the neighborhood (most of which are teenagers), there isn't much point.

I don't get it, never have. We will watch a movie. I wish we had game 6 of the world series tonight.

We're into it over here. My grandma used to turn her house into a mini haunted house every year so I grew up with that as a tradition. The whole family dresses up usually. We have the kind of neighbors that give out full size candy bars, and many of them also convert their houses / yards for the evening. Tonight, we'll be in a group of about 15 kids ranging in age from about 6 to 14.. maybe 4 adults, myself included acting as chaperons. I'm a huge fan of the horror movie genre. Just wish it wasn't on monday this year, puts a big damper on things.

Nice to see I'm not the only one who isn't a fan of the day. My youngest, a high schooler, will be at a church function, where they will have games and music.

We live in a cul-de-sac. Not many trick or treaters come by. We are lucky to get 10. All our neighbors gather in the road, we set up tables and chairs and we have appetizers, snacks and desserts. We also all bring our bowls of candy and pass out candy if we get trick or treaters. It is one time our neighbors get together and catch up with everyone. Up to now it has been in the 90's so we are coming out of hibernation. That is the way we like to celebrate.
