"How High is The Water Momma"

Always an unfortunate situation for the Midwest. Let's hope for fast receding waters and a quick recovery.

We have many customers that lost their campers in the flooding. Permanent campgrounds on rivers and many storage areas were flooded.

Spent the day sand bagging, they're expecting the river to crest around 27-28 feet. In the flood of '93 it was over 33 feet and our water plant went under. I really don't expect that to happen this time but just in case my backup water supply is in the driveway!

It’s time like these that having that “second home” on wheels comes in handy! Looks like a lot of people are going to need help these next few weeks and longer.

We're pretty lucky Lexington is on a bluff so very few homes if any will be affected. Our biggest problem is the water plant that's close to the river.
