Getting closer to the bottom of that chart than the top, so that's what they mean about going down hill.

Just saw this poll and voted. When I was younger (20s) I was an avid tent camper and backpacker. I got into my thirties and bought my first boat and now in my mid fifties, I am on my fourth. My DW and I have been thinking about changing hobbies from boating to RVing with a travel trailer. I posted a thread on one of my boating forums asking for advise, since there are many members on it who also have RVs. One reply that was troubling to me was from someone who said, "To me, RVing means it's the beginning of the end." Is it? Should I start working on my obit? One thing I am worried about is getting bored at the campsite. I was thinking of always having our bikes and we also have an inflatable kayak. We are empty nesters so there will be no little ones to keep us busy. Just wondering, what does everyone do while camping. I can appreciate nightime, cooking dinner outside, making a nice fire, and sitting under the stars. But what about the rest of the time?
For now we are still boat owners. Not putting it off, just waiting for the warmer weather, I think.......or am I

Old enough to remember things I wish I'd forgotten or never knew. Looking forward to learning a whole lot more. Certainly old enough to to know that I don't know jack!

I'm 56.

That's the way to feel! When you're to old to drive, let your DW bet she won't be... or won't admit it. I wouldn't (well might)
