Yep, going out to pee could be a late night adventure but no flood worries!

And the guy that was in that spot looked over to norty1 and said isn't it time for an upgrade?

I wonder if it has antique RV plates?

I sorta like the look myself, but I suspect it's a pain to air condition on a really hot day/night and not so easy to heat in the winter either. Of course it might be a head turner so it would be worth it. Not ordinary for sure.

It was a homemade rig. The body is a M101 Humvee trailer from military salvage and the tent is a standard car top that is available many places. He had it outfitted with solar sells and kayak racks.

Still not for me.

Sleeping Bear on the West side of the state is beautiful if you can make it over that way.

Thanks, I'll check it out. When I was camp site shopping, so to speak, everything not private, and most of them, had absolutely no sites left. I went to the east side and sound some, rugged but I'll manage. Just got the state's camping pass, so can start looking at state parks now. I'll switch if I can.

Leaving for first place in just about a week, picked up the Little Guy today, it's great.

Leaving delayed again... Hope to leave Saturday this week. Little Guy and car in for work. Had to cancel all reservations, got a new one in private but new. Now waiting to hear car & trailer are ready to leave on Saturday.
