I was a baaaddd girl

I did a very bad thing today. As most of you know my popup bit the dust, so to speak. We almost, just almost, fixed the problem. It may not be fixable by anyone but an expert but we carry on.

So what did I do today that made me a baaaddd girl? I bought another trailer, a tiny, two person, sit up and shorter people can stand up, trailer. Unfortunately Jayco does not make these trailers, so I bought a foreign trailer.

I offer my abject apologies to the Jayco forum members, and promise the next trailer I get with be a Jayco or something like a Jayco.

Can I still haunt the forums? Roux 'b Doux

I'm not the boss here, but you're welcome to stay. Well at least Max and you can go camping where ever it is cooler than in TX. The thing with popups they need lubrication once and awhile, otherwise they will seize up, well you can blame that on the owner(s) before. Hope you'll get it fixed so the re-sale won't go down.

Although blowing it up was not an option, can you just partially set it on fire? Asking for a friend.

Merrick, I'd really like to but I sorta gave it to my sister in exchange for 1/2 the new trailer's price. I guess I could set fire to just part of it. NO that wouldn't be right. Sorry no fire either.

One day Riverman, maybe, but don't bet on it.

Thank you Tunce I appreciate it, I like it here.

Kneeslider, yup I've gotten that feeling, sort of.

AlJo I appreciate the feeling and thought. I'll be here a bit longer, I'm sure. I could make 'em chase me out with a Jayco I guess, but my Little Guy is pretty fast, less weight don't ya know. Picture to follow.

My Little Guy, before I pick him up on Friday. Hope this worked. If not a link is at the bottom, maybe. Having problems tonight with working computers and things.

Cool trailer, although you might have to step outside to change your mind.

Always welcome here!

It's not stepping out to change my mind that I'll have to do, it has no indoor plumbing. Port-a-potti time..

FYI, a friend has one like that, it's a PITA getting enough tongue weight to prevent sway. I ended installing a Curtis sway control on it for her. It helped but it's still not perfect. Load it up and pull on a scale!

You can always add a few things to your teardrop and at least get the sleeping part fixed up pretty good...

I would love to use something like this on RADIO COMMS runs I usually make off the power grid and something like has even caught my eye...

I have this really cool weight distribution / sway hitch. Got it because the tongue weight of the popup was not in the limits of my car, and I will load it up. Packed my car today, oh my, I have a lot. But staying out for at least six weeks, I hope. I planned ahead. Thanks for the advice I'll follow it.

I actually considered something like that and a few other real serious off road ones, like the No Boundries NOBOs, the small ones, but this seemed more reasonable for long stays away from my home, abode, building, the place I currently rest my head.

BTW I really like those they're super neat, and I am going to get a awningfor the Kid, but for now going to use my canopy with a screen room attachment. It will work pretty good. Going to sleep out on the air mattress sometimes, maybe.

I never saw one of those, and I looked at a lot of trailers. Didn't see one in any center, not even centers that specialize in Jayco. If I'd known I probably would have. *sniff* I saw Hummingbirds but they were all much bigger than that looks to be. Most of them wouldn't be tow-able by my car. But that one looks plenty light and small enough. Darn

Thanks John,

Heading to Michigan today to pick up the trailer and then to 1st campground. Going to Ausable River Campground on East side of state near Lake Superior (inland). If anyone is going to be there let me know.
