I'm going to try and improve on the quality of my posts.

The last few have not had a lot of substance and I apologize for that. But there's a reason for that. Below is a view from my back door.

It's winter in southwest Ohio. For a person who likes to work on their TT, or better yet, take it camping, it's not the best of times.

I here you OnTheGo,
I am running out of good quality discussions too. Have answers to all my projects etc.
I am in Cincy and itching to go camping.
We going to take a short Florida vacation in January, but waiting on Spring :-(

Best regards,
Doug

OnTheGo,

That's a nice Grill.

I see you added extra tanks. That thing must burn lots of fuel.
One thing I have to ask. What's all that White stuff on your deck?

I think we all get the Winter blues at times, I know Crabman does! (and I`ve got a strong dose of it right now!). Seen nothing wrong with your posts. BTW the forum is also a bit slow this time of year due to it being the off season which of course means there are fewer discussions going on to comment on. It will pick up in the Spring when folks start getting the fever and buying new rigs or dewinterizing and prepping their old ones.

Yes, Lee, you're absolutely right. We all get the winter blues sometimes. But, for those of us in the general vicinity (100 miles) of FedEx Field in Landover, MD, we can all (well, most of us, anyway) yell GO 'SKINS !! for tonight's big game. It's Dallas week, and we're READY ! JMHO, of course.

Now now. No complaints from me. I am still camping. This weekend I had one pickup truck go by my camp 3 times. I also had 5 snowmobiles go by 6 times. They were using the road. I had to use 4 wheel drive to get in and out. 7 inches on Thursday night when I went in, 5 more inches on Saturday. It was a lovely quiet time camping!

Our son camped out in the Superstition Mountain SP a few days ago. The park is located east of Phoenix. No snow but bloody cold; into the 20/30's and a dry cold. Of course he is nuts and so are you.

Hey Muelldawg - the last time I visited relatives in Phoenix, I about burned my hands just trying to raise the hood to check the oil - 115 degrees. I'll take the winter blues here in Virginia anytime over that, even though I do miss camping during the winter. :hihi:

Maybe, just maybe, all of us are nuts. Take me, for example; anything over 30 degrees Fahrenheit is too warm for my liking. 20 degrees? Good. 5 below? Even better. If only the TT was designed for such, I would be a winter-only full-timer boondocking with snowbirds!! Happy Camping!!
